Vintage cameo ring with engraved shoulders in gold, classical goddess vintage cameo in 14kt rose gold.

Stunning cameo ring with a rectangular shaped agate centrepiece carved with a figure in the form of a classical goddess figure. The shoulders of the band has engraved detailing. Cameos were a method of carving stone that was popular during the time of the roman empire. It was revived in Europe in both the 18th and 19th century.

Measurements and Marks:
The size of the plaque is 21 x 11.40mm, 16mm x 8mm. It weighs 4 grams. The ring has a stamp of 14kt to the shank.It is a size N-O, U.S size 6.75.

Condition:
All antique, vintage and pre-owned jewellery has been pre-loved so some wear is to be expected. Attention is drawn to any noticeable marks and wear that is above in keeping with it's age. This piece is in excellent condition and the collet setting is secure.
