A beautiful row of rose cut diamonds set in silver cups on a gold band, an antique ring either late Georgian or early victorian. Diamonds were set closed at this period and were usually foil backed to create sparkle in candlelight. A beautifully subtle antique treasure, bursting with character.
Measurements and markings:
The ring features nine rose cut diamonds, imperfect, grey and included, they are approximately 2.25mm each .04 carats with a a total carat weight of .36 cts. The band where the diamonds set is 3mm in width. At the back it is 2mm wide and 1.5mm in depth. The Item is size L, US size 6; rings are re-sizeable. There are no hallmarks on the piece but it tests between 12kt and 14kt gold. Weight 1.55 grams.
Condition:
The ring is in good condition, there is a possibility that the shank was replaced at a later date.

Each ring is shipped in black velvet ring boxes, tied with ribbon. Included is a short jewellery assessment with the piece that details all the markings and gemstone information.
