Vintage garnet and diamond ring set in platinum and 18kt gold.

Antique garnet and diamond flower ring, the platinum setting has a star within the flower set with a central garnet and the surround little tiny diamonds. It is very unsual to find a ring of this age c. 1940 with a garnet in the centre. 

Measurements and marks:
Ring is a size 6.75/N, the weight is 2.35 grams. It has been re-polished unfortunately removing hallmarks. The ring tests for 18kt gold. The pink-red faceted garnet is 4mm and the six small diamonds 1.5-2mm.

Condition:
The piece is in good condition.
