An unusual Georgian blue enamel and jet ring, long and elegant the enamel piece is bordered by faceted jet cabochons with a decorative edge. A piece most likely adapted from a brooch and a ring from the same period.
Measurements and Marks:
The length of the ring is 25mm with a width of 12mm. It is a ring size F, 3 so a ring for the small finger or re-sized for a larger one. The band of the ring is hallmarked London, 18kt, a date letter for 1823-24. Inside on the back of the enamel and jet piece is inscribed Mary Lewis died May 8th 1822, aged 58.
Condition:
The ring is in good condition. Under the loupe some wear is visible on both the enamel and the jet beads.

Pieces are shipped in velvet gift boxes, tied with ribbon. Included is a short document that includes the details of the piece.
