Antique diamond ring set with old cut diamonds, a georgian diamond ring.

An antique diamond ring, a cluster of old rose cut diamonds set in a closed back setting typical of Georgian Jewellery It has some patterning at the back which is also typical of Georgian Jewellery. The floral cluster of diamonds is set on a yellow  band which is possibly more recent.

Measurements and markings:
The ring weighs 3.40 grams and is set with four approximately 3mm (.10cts) tinted rough diamonds and between each of the four smaller 1.5mm-2mm ( 0.02cts) diamonds with one in the centre 2.5mm ( 0.05cts) A total carat weight of .53 cts. The diamonds are rose cut, grey-champagne, fairly included; typical of diamonds from this period. The ring measures size J/US 5  however probably wears slightly bigger due to how the band sits on the setting. The piece tests 10kt -14kt. 

Condition:
The ring is in good condition.As previously noted it is possible the shank was replaced at a later date.
