A hand painted porcelain and garnet ring that has been dated at the latest from early 1800's but is possibly older. The porcelain plaque is hand painted with a lady who wears a lilac and white dress with a bustle and a bonnet. The plaque is surrounded by a separate border of 19 rose cut garnets.
Markings and measurements:
The entire oval setting is approx 20mm x 15mm, with the central plaque being 15mm x 11mm. The band tests as 15kt gold. It is a size 8.25, or P-Q
Condition:
The ring definitely shows its age, there are losses to the gold around the porcelain plaque and the garnet set border.
Additional information:
Each piece is presented in a velvet gift box, tied with a ribbon. Included is a short document that details hallmarks if present & measurements.
