Antique Enamel Locket with blue enamel, within a victorian pattern of a belt & shield

An absolutely beautiful antique locket that features on one side, blue enamel within a belt and shield design. The enamel is a deep turquoise and still in perfect condition and the reverse engraved with a foliate design. The inside has two spaces for photographs. Belts and buckles  were symbols in the Victorian era of commitment, or fastened. 

Marks and Measurements:
The locket has a width of 17mm and a length of 21mm with an extra 5mm for the bail.  The locket is unmarked, it is 9kt gold Victorian back and front locket , Included is a contemporary 9kt gold curb chain 16-18 inches

Condition:
The locket is in excellent condition.
