A beautiful antique sapphire and diamond flower ring, 18kt gold and platinum. A stunning ring set with an old cut sapphire and diamonds. Era c.1920-1930
Measurements and markings:
The ring is size O-P, 7.25 It is stamped pl and 18 for Platinum and 18kt gold. The item weighs 3.22 grams.
Gemstones:
The sapphire has a diameter of approximately. 6.3 mm wide. Just over 1 ct in weight. The colour is strong violettish Blue, it shows colour zoning ( common in natural sapphires where there are stronger and lighter patches of blue) There are 12 x 2mm old european cut diamonds date from 1890-1930 wide.The estimated total carat weight of the diamonds is .48 and the daisy setting has a diameter of approximately 12mm.
Condition:
The ring is in good condition. The sapphire under magnification shows some abrasion on the edges of its facets.

Each ring is shipped in black velvet ring boxes, tied with ribbon. I include a short jewellery document with the piece that details all the markings and gemstone information.
