Ornate vintage locket, an engraved locket in a heart shape, back and front heart locket.

Vintage engraved gold back and front locket, a heart shaped locket, with very pretty foliage motifs and a raised patterned border.  It opens to two spaces for photographs. 

Measurements and markings: 
The dimensions of the locket are  20mm x 17mm, the bail and ring adds an additional 4mm . Included is a fine gold plated chain 16-18 inches. The locket weighs  2.28 grams. On the back is a stamp '9ct back and front, metal fittings'. 

Condition: 
The locket is in good condition. It has retained the two heart shape frames on the inside, there is some discolouring of the metal fittings.
