Vintage diamond sapphire ring, three stone tension ring, from the 1970's.

An unusual 9kt gold diamond and sapphire ring from the 1970's with a minimal prong setting/tension setting. It allows the beauty of the diamond to shine.

Measurements and marks:
The ring is hallmarked 9kt gold, London and a date letter for 1979.Ring weight is 2.37 grams. The diamond has a diameter of 3.6mm so an estimated carat weight of .17cts. It is bright with lovely scintillation ( sparkle! ) The little 2mm sapphires are a deep dark navy. Ring size is 6.5, size M-N, rings can be re-sized for a small additional charge. We take your ring size in the shop. 

Condition:
The ring is in good condition. The stone setting has been checked. Given the setting this would be important to get checked every year.
