A vintage gold gypsy ring set with garnets and pearls with an ornate border. A vintage gypsy ring with lovely proportions. The gold has a rose tone to it.
Measurements and markings:
The widest part of the setting is 8mm and the band at the back 2mm. The ring is a size 6.25, M : rings can be re-sized. Weight is : 1.2 grams: a light ring. There are partial hallmarks visible, although difficult to interpret. 375 for 9 carat gold, the possible outline of the lions head for London and a date letter between 1960-70. The central garnet is 2mm, and the adjacently set pearls and garnets 1.5mm.
Condition:
The piece shows it's age, there are marks on the inside of the band. One of the pearls is discoloured.
