Vintage Octagon ring, 9kt gold with etched patterning on four faces.

A fine 9kt octagon ring with etched lines and patterning on four faces, the other four are shaped. Engraved on the inside of the band is MIZPAH are initials and a date J.D S & R.C.B 14/5/43. (Mizpah was often inscribed on Jewellery representing a bond between two people who were separated as it's the Hebrew word for watchtower)

• Full Hallmarks 9kt, Chester and 1942.
