Vintage octagon ring, 9kt gold with etched patterning on four faces.

A beautiful 9kt gold octagon ring with engraved faces. Octagon rings are popular and hard to source. Each one is unique;  this one has etched lines and patterning on four of it's faces, the other four are shaped. 

Measurements and Marks: 
Ring is size Q and the piece weighs 1.8 grams. Width of the ring is 2.8mm and  just under 2mm in depth. Hallmarks for Chester, 9kt gold and a date letter 1942. Also Engraved on the inside of the band are J.D S & R.C.B 14/5/43 MIZPAH . Mizpah was often inscribed on Jewellery representing a bond between two people who were separated as it's the Hebrew word for watchtower. 

Condition: 
The ring shows wear in keeping with its age.
